Lina Jan
About
I am a PsyCare UK-trained, trauma-informed, metaphysically-curious psychologist and emotional wellbeing coach. Historically, in varying capacities and roles, I supported people who have found themselves in vulnerable situations and states. My BSc research focused on emotional intelligence and my currently ongoing MSc research at the University of Exeter is focusing on ketamine and inner critic. I am a certified coach and a member of and practicing in accordance with Association for Coaching Code of Ethics. In my practice, I mostly help people to learn to pause and notice what is going on inside them and around them, and to become equipped and comfortable with balancing surrendering to what is unfolding while retaining and exercising agency. We do that through body-based practices, like breathwork, conscious dance, etc., and psychometric exploration tools, like Openmind™ report, and integrate the insights facilitated by noticing through reflective talking, NLP, mandala painting, etc., weaved in and around body-based practices. In my work, I am committed to decolonial ethics and not losing sight of people’s lived realities at any given time, especially as relates to practicalities in one’s capacity to fit in wellbeing and ongoing integration supporting practices into the everyday.
