About
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with a longstanding interest in the ways people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves through compassionate self-exploration, meaningful relationships, and community. My path into psychotherapy emerged from a fascination with the nature of consciousness, personal transformation, and the human search for meaning. Alongside my clinical work, I am studying for an MSc in Psychedelics, Mind, Medicine and Culture at the University of Exeter, where I continue to explore the intersections between psychology, spirituality, culture, and altered states of consciousness. In my therapeutic practice, I draw from a range of approaches including humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness-based, Jungian-informed, compassion-focused, creative and somatic perspectives. I am particularly interested in helping people develop a deeper relationship with themselves through self-awareness, self-compassion, and the exploration and integration of the different parts of their inner world. I believe that healing happens not only through insight but through connection. Many of the difficulties we face can leave us feeling isolated, disconnected, or at odds with ourselves. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, listen more deeply, and reconnect with the strengths, values, and wisdom that may have become obscured through life's challenges. I have a particular interest in supporting people who are integrating transformative experiences, including spiritual experiences, meditation practice, profound life transitions, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and non-judgemental, creating a space where people can explore these experiences safely and meaningfully. What draws me to Karuna Communitas is a shared belief that healing is not solely an individual process but also a communal one. I am inspired by the values of compassion, reciprocity, accessibility, and belonging, and by the possibility of creating spaces where people can support one another's growth and wellbeing.
